Global Village - Dubai
Global village in Dubai is a huge event running alongside Dubai Shopping Festival during the cooler months between November and February. It started as a small operation alongside Deira Dubai Creek in 1996 and then moved to Festival City for a short time before being located to a more permanent area in Dubailand. Global Village aims to bring cultures and customs together through creative local items for sale, fabulous international food to sample and entertaining dances and performances.
